Limoges-Bénédictins station

Limoges station is known for being one of the most beautiful stations in France, it was inaugurated in 1929. Since 1975, it has been listed as a "Historic Monument". The association of Art Nouveau and Art Deco for its architecture, make it one of the emblems of the city of Limoges. Many films or advertising clips were received by the station. The latter is located just 400 m from our establishment. For the anecdote, the clocks of the station bell tower, display two minutes in advance to ensure the punctuality of travelers.

Limoges cathedral

In the heart of the historic center of the city, located 700 m from our hotel near the train station in Limoges, stands the Saint-Etienne Cathedral of Limoges. Its construction began in the 1270s and ended in the late 19th century. The Cathedral is open every day for visits, take the opportunity to discover the crypt, the nave or the different organs.

Beaux-arts museum

In a superb 18th century building, stands the Museum of Fine Arts of Limoges which encloses real treasures. During your visit to the museum, start your visit with the section on "enamels", then continue with "Fine Arts" and finally with the section on the history of Limoges. The museum is a 15-minute walk from the Hotel Des Deux Moulins.

Martyre village

Located 20 km from Limoges, discover Oradour-sur-Glane, the Martyr village. This village plays an important role in the common memory. Indeed, it is a village completely destroyed during the Second World War. Today, the ruins of this village continue to perpetuate a message of memory and peace.
